The Schatz 1881 Royal ship's bell clock (ø180 mm, chrome-plated brass) does what only a true ship's clock does: every half hour it strikes the watch code, from one to eight bells, with its battery-driven ship's bell strike. White dial with Arabic numerals, solid brass case with hinged bezel.
The strike can be switched off whenever silence is wanted. Precision quartz movement; mounts on a wall or bulkhead. The sound of the bells has been Schatz's signature since 1881 — read our guide to the ship's bell code.
Match it with the Royal barometer in the same finish. See the whole Schatz Royal series.
Schatz has made ship's clocks since 1881; today production is in the hands of the Danish house Delite in Måløv, with original movements and spare parts. A Schatz instrument never retires: it gets inherited. Read the history of Schatz 1881.
