The Schatz 1881 Royal ship's clock, ø180 mm in polished brass, is the house classic: a solid brass case with hinged bezel and screw clasp, a highly legible white dial with Arabic numerals and black hands, and a precision quartz movement.
The Royal format is the brand's largest: made for the saloon, dining room or wheelhouse, legible from several metres. Glass and bezel open for setting the time or changing the battery; the clock mounts on a wall or bulkhead with the screws in the base.
Pair it with the Royal barometer and hygro-thermometer in the same finish for a perfectly aligned instrument panel. See the whole Schatz Royal series.
Schatz has made ship's clocks since 1881; today production is in the hands of the Danish house Delite in Måløv, with original movements and spare parts. A Schatz instrument never retires: it gets inherited. Read the history of Schatz 1881.
